UW5800S Functionally Safe Intrinsically Safe I/O Unit includes CNetUW redundant safety communication module, functional safety intrinsically safe I/O module, integrated terminal block, and meets explosion-proof design requirements and safety-related application requirements of low and high demand modes defined by IEC61508; UW5800S functional safety intrinsically safe I /O module, which combines the functional safety I/O module and the isolation safety barrier function, complies with the SC3 system capability level and SIL3 hardware safety integrity level defined by IEC61508, and has passed the SIL3 level safety evaluation certification; receiving from hazardous locations (Zone 0) , Zone 1 and Zone 2) signals of pressure, liquid level, thermocouples, thermal resistors, actuators and other on-site intrinsically safe instruments.
Compared with the traditional connection method of safety barrier and SIS, the intrinsically safe I/O module saves a lot of safety barrier, safety barrier cabinet, transfer cable and installation costs; compared with the centralized wiring method, distributed bus I/O , connect field instruments locally, greatly saving cables and construction costs; UW5800S implements communication modules and 16 Mixed configuration of AI/AO modules.

Status indicators, including operation, fault, network, etc., each operating status is clear at a glance, and the fault point can be quickly determined; input voting algorithm, output voting algorithm, input/output self-test and fault reporting mechanism can be built-in;
The functional safety intrinsically safe I/O module can be directly connected to the dangerous side transmitter, isolate the current signal generated by the transmitter from the dangerous side and transmit it, and provide isolated power to the dangerous side transmitter.
